Our last day was “memorable” to say the least. Usually gelato flows out our doors. However on our last day , the Champagne flowed in through our doors as many friends brought the bubbly to help celebrate . The only way to contend with the flood was to drink it; which we did !! Thanks for all the well wishes and “Good Cheer”. You will be forever in our hearts. Please come visit us in Napa.

It is ALWAYS VERY CROWDED and of course you can’t see Michelangelo’s artwork close up as you can here. This is especially spectacular if you have a large high-definition screen! Too detailed to appreciate on an I-Phone. TO VIEW EVERY PART OF THE MICHELANGELO’S MASTERPIECE, JUST CLICK AND DRAG YOUR ARROW IN THE DIRECTION YOU WISH TO SEE.

In the lower left, click on the plus (+) to move closer, on the minus (-) to move away. Choir is thrown in free.

AMAZING! MOVE THE ARROW AND YOU WILL SEE EVERY PART OF THE CHAPEL.

This virtual tour of the Sistine Chapel is incredible. Apparently done by Villanova at the request of the Vatican . Thought you would enjoy the quality and a bit of Rome on your computer. Amazing what can be done with technology.

The Frati Lemontini

“The Frati Lemontini” Utterly refreshing: 8 oz. Prosecco, 1 oz. Vodka 1/3 cup Frati Limone/Lemon sorbetto 1/4 teaspoon fresh chopped mint leaves. Mix the Prosecco and Vodka. Pour the prosecco and vodka into 2 chilled champagne flutes. Spoon a scoop of Frati Limone/Lemon Sorbetto into each flute. Sprinkle with mint and serve immediately .
